chefArtisan marks the second collaboration between Rick Wahlstedt, owner of L’Escale in Greenwich, as well as La Goulue, Japonais, and Le Colonial, and Charles Mallory, Founder and Partner of the Greenwich Hospitality Group. Frederic Kieffer, the opening Chef of L’Escale at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor, will serve as Artisan’s Executive Chef and Partner.

The owners have worked hard to create a restaurant that will be a welcoming haven for its neighbors. “We really wanted to bring something special to the Southport community and create a restaurant with understated simplicity that is also welcoming and relaxing,” says Owner and Partner Rick Wahlstedt. “The delicious cuisine which uses the freshest, locally sourced products combined with the relaxed atmosphere represents the best of Connecticut life and the lovely seaside community of Southport.”
