McClenaghan's culinary journey began at an early age in his grandfather’s restaurant, leading him to a career in the culinary arts. His classical training in French pastry, coupled with experiences under the mentorship of elite chefs and restauranteurs like Thomas Keller, Fabio Trabocchi, Tom Colicchio and Stephen Starr, have provided him a rich culinary foundation. One of his career highlights was creating the cake for the Obama’s 25th wedding anniversary at Fiola in Washington, DC.
